CAPTAIN OF THE WINDWAYS WARRIORS

A mysterious figure, Glakila fell from the sky and crash-landed in the Tangled Wood. A cult of Shadow extremists witnessed this and took it as an omen of doom, preparing to sacrifice the confused and mute imperial who was too wounded to fight back. She was only saved by a young warrior of the cult, Palaemon, who stepped forward in her defense, and the prophet of the cult, Sergio, who then defended Palaemon by saying that immediately judging such an omen could produce even worse consequences. Reluctantly, Glakila was kept alive and placed under constant surveillance. She was befriended by Palaemon and Sergio, and as the cult grew ever more corrupt, all of them decided to flee to the safety of the Windways clan.

Now, Glakila serves as the Captain of the Windways warriors. She is dedicated to this role and takes all matters of defense very seriously --- any warrior caught shirking their duties is likely to get a good tongue-lashing, as well as a cuff upside the head. She is often very quiet and does not have an explanation of where she came from, as she has no memories before her fall from the sky, and this fact aggravates her deeply.

However, despite her intimidating presence, Glakila can be very gentle, patient, and is almost always willing to play games in her downtime. Overall, she is highly admired and respected within the Windways clan.

MINOR BACKSTORY DETAILS
- Has no memory of a life or family before she fell from the sky; this troubles her deeply, although she rarely speaks about it.
- Her first days in the cult (and with Palaemon and Sergio) are a bit blurry.
- Remembers that Palaemon was the one to help her come up with a name for herself.
- At the time, didn't quite understand the urgency of Palaemon and Sergio in fleeing the cult; it was only the fight and ensuring hunt for them that clued her into the amount of danger they were in.
- Was the one to first get in contact with Azza and Hilario, who took them in.
- Founded the Windways Warriors, so that as the Windways Clan grew, they would remain protected.

PERSONALITY
- A bit uptight, especially regarding the patrols and training of her warriors.
- Can be quick to jump to conclusions.
- Not the most talkative; whatever she says is usually thought out beforehand.
- Highly respected.
- Very gentle and patient around hatchlings and those that are hurt or sick.
- Has a bit of a mischievous side.

PHYSICAL
- Very large, even by imperial standards; probably one of the largest dragons within the clan.
- Almost never removes her armor.

RELATIONS
- Mates with Palaemon and Felicity.
- Palaemon is her best friend and often patrol together. They are also almost always together during their down-time, whether it be chatting, playing games, or visiting Felicity.
- Originally did not get along with Felicity and simply tolerated her because she was Palaemon's charge; over time, however, she has grown a fondness for the prickly coatl and is now the first to stand up for her if outsiders comment on her oddness.
- Sergio is one of her oldest friends, next to Palaemon, and her biggest confident. They're often seen gossiping and laughing together in their downtime. She trusts his judgement above anyone else.
- Often butts heads with Jayce because she disapproves of his seemingly lax and laid-back nature towards their jobs (and authority in general). It doesn't help that he purposely tries to get a rise out of her a lot of the time. Begrudgingly though, she will admit that he is one of her best warriors.
- Is honestly a bit off-put by Bluestone, although she tries to hide it.

OTHER
- Loves to play board games and cards in her downtime.
- Isn't afraid to give her warriors a gentle smack upside the head if they're slacking off or being irresponsible (that's looking at you, Jayce).
- Helps raise her own hatchlings as well as Felicity's, since the coatl has no interest in parenting.
- A chronic over-worker; usually has to be dragged away by Palaemon or Sergio to rest and relax.
- A magic fighter compared to a physical or weapons fighter.
