ABOUT -

» A hatchling abandoned near the Cloudsong, Matrona was taken in by a traveling magician troupe along with two other orphaned hatchlings she befriended. The three were taught different forms of divination, with Matrona learning cartomancy.

» She left the troupe as a young adult and travelled with Livia and Amaranthine, who became merchants rather than diviners. Livia sold candles, Amaranthine sold fine cloth, and Matrona read her cards for any dragon with gold in their pockets.

» A guardian, Primum, arrived and proclaimed Matrona's cartomancy deck his charge. He would guard the merchants' tent and always keep an eye on Matrona as she read her customers' futures and love lives to them (it was one of the most popular options).

» Primum and Amaranthine mysteriously vanished were murdered and the two dragons were left with nowhere to stay after having to flee their camp we were driven away by Serthis-. Livia (with her child Polymnia) and Matrona (with her newly hatched child Yusaku) ran to the Zephyr Steppes where the four ran into Coriander.

» Coriander was a runaway as well a particularly unhappy customer and a broken contract, so they decided all travel together. The group settled down after a while and created a small village.

» Things have since calmed down, and the newly named Perierat Clan have returned to their merchant-ly and divine ways (that's a word, right?).
