Parfianka

Parfianka began her journey among the crumbling monuments of Dragonhome, where she was hatched to a group of proud and noble imperials. She was a curious young dragon, eager to explore the word around her. She would often gaze out at the horizon, wondering what the lands of the other elemental deities might hold in store.

One fateful day, Parfianka unearthed something strange in her explorations of the Earthshaker's realm. A strange seed, tiny and white. It appeared to glitter in the sun. Most dragons would have overlooked such a small and insignificant thing, but Parfianka felt drawn to it. She knew she had to find a way to nurture the seed. Not many plants grew in such a rocky domain, but she was determined to find a way. She planted the seed in a secret spot and tended to it every day. Soon, a small pale green sprout appeared.

However, her joy was short-lived. It soon became clear that the tiny seedling could not survive in the rocky terrain. Parfianka was as stubborn and proud as any imperial in her group, and she decided she could not let the new seedling die even if it meant leaving her home. She said goodbye to her family, and with the utmost care scooped up her seedling along with some dirt into a small pouch. She carried the pouch around her neck at all times as she set out on a search for a new home.

As she flew across the sea channel that separates Dragonhome from the Veridian Labyrinth, it became clear that she had found a place her little plant could flourish. She settled on a small outlying isle of the Gladekeeper's domain and planted her seedling in the rich soil.

Before her very eyes the little spout began rapidly to grow! Within a few minutes it was a slender young tree with lush leaves tickling her nose. Parfianka was astonished. In time, the tree bloomed with beautiful crimson blossoms and bore fruit. The fruit was unlike anything she had ever tasted. It was round and as crimson as the tree's blossoms, with many small seeds like edible jewels inside.

Using the seeds from the fruit, Parfianka was able to establish a small orchard of the trees on her island. Soon dragons from all across the Veridian Labyrinth were flying to her orchard to get a taste of this wondrous new fruit. For a time, all seemed well.
