"It's not that I don't like any of you. I just... prefer my own company. Now, if you'd excuse me..."
A reserved and somewhat intimidating young Wildclaw. Like the other Leading Scholars thus far, Calufray entered the Radiant Hollow as a hatchling, originating from the Shadow flight. Although she grew up with other dragons such as Fern and Cheren, Calufray isolated herself at a young age, and was rather distant from the others for reasons known only to her. However, although she was far from social, Calufray was nothing if not studious and attentive. Preferring the teaching style of Xena, the young hatchling showed an aptitude for learning and was proficient enough in her work to where she was rivaled only by Fern the Imperial, whom Calufray came to consider competition. Sometime during her studies, Calufray felt a strong yearning to research and delve into the history and behavior of the flight that she had come from, and by the time she was an adolescent, she was chosen as a Leading Scholar (a title she holds with a secret, humble pride). Now that Calufray is an official Leading Scholar, she is still a bit withdrawn, choosing to avoid active interaction with her peers. She and Fern always butt heads, and Calufray has shown a strong dislike for Flux, the Leading Scholar of Lightning, finding the Mirror dragon too boisterous for her tastes. However, this does not mean that Calufray lives in complete isolation. The young Wildclaw has earned a mutual respect with Xena, and the two chat often. Along with this, Calufray quite enjoys the company of Lumio, the Guardian, and has a soft spot for Atami the Snapper. Along with being the Hollow's expert on the Shadow flight, Calufray is also a fierce fighter, and is often hailed as the sharpest in combat.
