Biography
Since before Kane was born, he and all male hatchlings before him were made to fight monstrous beasts. Refusal to fight meant to be sent away to the God of Thunder to be forced to fight in the wars. Kane was the son of Empress Lyra, and second prince of the Oasis, but was not exempt from this tradition; he had to prove himself to stay.
The young Prince was put in the arena with nothing but his magic and claws to defeat creature after creature. Blood stained his skin and feathers; Kane won and proved himself. He was worthy. Empress Lyra was proud of her young son, and declared he would lead her armies.
Kane holds no ill will towards his mother for forcing him to fight when he was young, it was the law well before any of them existed. He is loyal, and will uphold all his clan's laws, even the less favorable ones. He understands all laws were made for a reason; sending hatchlings that refuse to fight away keeps the clan strong, and the population under control.
The male now tends to be a more reserved, watching-the-world type, but he has no problems standing up and putting someone in their place. Beware his temper; cross him or be disrespectful to the royal family, and he will have no problems executing you where you stand.
