Biography
Theme Song: I dream of Dawn
His scales may be dark and his demeanor aloof but Mizar is one of the kindest, most pure-hearted dragons one can meet. He always smiles politely no matter what happens and rarely shows emotions other than compassion and mild amusement.
He was mainly raised by his grandfather so it's not a suprise he's taken after him in his interest of magic. He spends a lot of time studying and doing experiments, some safer than others.

Case study 3 - Stage One
As with the previous subjects, I have injected the egg with the essence created from the donor's blood. This egg seems to be slightly larger than the previous ones, indicating either a ridgeback or a guardian.
Since the donor is unable to concentrate her elemental magic to the egg by herself, I had to pull some off myself. It's always nasty business to poke around somebody's mind but I had her concent so I suppose it's okay. Not that she has anything to hide, it seems. Hers is one of the purest minds I've had a pleasure to ecounter.
She seemed to be hopeful about his one, too. From what I saw I can tell that she really wants this to work. I couldn't agree more.
Case study 3 - Stage Two
There is life inside the egg.
I can feel the warmth of an unborn hatchling from inside. It's much like case one but it's heartbeat is stronger. The donor seemes to be overjoyed. She rarely leaves the lab nowadays. I have been trying to tell her that it might not work but she won't listen. She keeps talking about 'mother's love' and how it can make miracles.
To be honest I've never thought of it that way. But I suppose that if this subject survives... I could be concidered it's father.
I have to go check that the egg is warm enough.
Case study 3 - Stage Three
Case number four failed. The other egg is healthy and we can hear growling coming from the inside. It might hatch any day.
Case study 3 - Stage Four
The egg has hatched. The subject is a male guardian with green eyes (my flight!) and orange scales resembling those of the donor. He is a fine example of his species, I must say. Grandfather must be happy when he hears that I have succeeded.
The donor seems to have a great deal of affection towards the subject. That's good. The child needs a family, test subject or not.
Case study 3 - Stage Five
Today I saw Lance fly for the first time. I was so amazed I forgot to measure the time and distance spent in air. But I suppose that doesn't really matter, does it?
Case study 3 - Stage Five
He called me his father.
He just called me his father.
I think I'm going to stop writing the log for now.
