Webster knew little of the outside world a good portion of their early life. Born into a royal tyrannic family that had taken control of a large clan by force, Web was forced to adhere to a strict set of standards their early childhood. If they were out of line even a small bit, be it their footing an inch out of place or simply tripping, they would be severely punished. It was no shock when the small dragon began to grow cold and distant, often sneaking out at night to perform all sorts of unsavory acts on creatures that were too weak to fight back. It started off with simple mice and birds but as time grew on their calm rage began to upgrade to bigger things. The final straw was when their mother gave birth to a long awaited sibling; a small baby girl with brilliant green eyes that shone like the sunshine through the Glademother's leaves. For the first time in a very long time, Webster felt something. They wanted to protect their sister. They loved her, and only her. Their antenna's finally regained their use after so many years. Many nights Webster would sneak into their small sisters room, simply staring down at her with adoration as they touched antennas to one another. They could feel what true love felt like for the first time in a long time; their dear sister was the only person who had ever truly loved them.

But that was never to be.

Their father became more and more angry each time he lay eyes on the small girl; a daughter was not someone who could carry on his legacy. A daughter was weak and useless to the throne, nothing more than an unnecessary complication. Webster got in the way of several rage-filled acts of aggression that would have surely caused permanent damage to the much smaller body of their younger sister. For four years their life continued like that; but they were happy. Their experiments slowed but never completely subsided; after all, the rage in their heart couldn't be completely eradicated even in the presence of their precious sister.

It was the night of a large gala that everything changed. Their family hosted a large party in celebration of Webster's 16th birthday. Their father was a bit late too; not too uncharacteristic. But as Webster went to fetch their sister they could feel something terrible hanging in the air. Their antenna's twitched and ached with agony; it was a sensation they'd never experienced. Walking turned to running, and then full on sprinting as they raced to their little sisters room.

Webster screamed. There on the ground lay his bloody and beaten little sister, her small body crumpled in her perfect dress that she'd been so excited to wear for the party. They sunk down beside their sister, holding her dying form in their arms, and weeped.

"I... made this for you..." came her weak voice. Webster lifted their head to see a small blue ribbon with a yellow center, and in even smaller very careful print 'world's best brother' had been scrawled on it.

They wept and held her, feeling each breath grow shallow. Begging would do nothing, they couldn't save her from the damage their father had done.

Their antennas touched.

"Be good, big brother..."

And she was gone.

Webster soon after picked up their deadly habit. No creature was safe from their wrath; poisons and toxins and sometimes brutal torture fell upon the land that he would inherit at their fathers death. But that concoction needed perfection; the kind that could paralyze you with such mind-numbing pain that your body could do nothing but twitch while it corroded from the inside. It took two years to perfect; on the sixth birthday of their precious sister, the poison was administered and Webster left behind their kingdom of filth as it's king and queen burnt away within the walls of their castle. Webster never looked back.
