Scaraga joined The Clan after he was given refuge in the lair during a particularly nasty sandstorm in the Shifting Expanse. Scaraga is a Mirror 'lone-wolf', unorthodox hunter with a sense of "honor", as he explains it. This also makes him a little weary of the pack-mentality of other Mirror dragons, and tends to avoid them if possible. Not because he dislikes his own breed, but he simply prefers to hunt alone and becomes uncomfortable when surrounded by large masses of other dragons.
Cunning and smart, he is a patient hunter and a fighter, oft waiting for long periods of time for his prey or opponent to make a mistake, then moving in for a flurry of devastating, relentless attacks. He prefers to fight "one to one" in terms of combat, and seems to get great delight in defeating foes. The bigger the challenge, the better. He is also the main hunter for The Clan, knowing the best places and methods to catch prey, live or dead, big or small.
During his off-time when he is not in active hunting or combat, he prefers to spend it with Sliraton, either in training or in more romantic fashion. Admiring her sense of duty and strength, he is utterly in love with the Guardian. He tends to show it by giving her fresh prey, challenging her in sparring duels (which he often loses due to his natural elemental disadvantage) and sharing battle-stories.
