Mokele Sous Chef Reliable | Sensible | Reserved Mokele has always been an expert at herding cats, mainly because his mother is a complete disaster of a dragon and his twin Ambrosia isn't all that much better. He's the one who has to shoot down ideas and act as the basic common sense filter for the entire family. To be honest, he's probably the sole reason the family turned out as functioning as it is. Even so, Mokele still inherited the family curiosity, even if it wasn't focused towards sciences or travel. He ended up heading Intelligence for the clan for several years before he found that he'd had his fill of secrets and espionage and retired to become a Sous Chef at the local restaurant. Surprisingly, herding his disaster family was incredibly good training for juggling everybody in a kitchen! It's rumored among the staff that Mokele must have eyes in the back of his head, because he always knows exactly what is going on and who is involved. As such, part of Mokele's job is to ride herd and make sure everyone is doing what they're supposed to be doing. Nobody can get away with anything from under Mokele's watchful eyes, which is good for the productivity of the kitchen at least! |

Mokele is about 75% sure that his mother is actually insane. He loves her, really, but she's a lot to deal with. His childhood was spent inside of a lab handling dangerous chemicals with very little supervision or safety measures, trying to keep his mother and sister from blowing themselves up. Despite all that, Mokele knows that she loves him. If he asked, she would be there for him in an instant, and he appreciates that. Even if she's more likely to make to worse rather than better. As Mokele's twin, he and Ambrosia share a special bond. Mainly that he pulls her out of whatever fire her sharp tongue has managed to land her in without complaining too much. Not really taking after their mother, Ambrosia's passion is travel which she achieves through her job as a messenger. Mokele worries after her constantly - she's more abrasive than personable to tell the truth, but he trusts in her ability to look after herself in the end. |
 Brother | Melchi might not have been planned per se, but seeing as it was his own mother's alchemical accidents that produced him, Mokele figures that makes Melchi his brother. Mokele (with some assistance from Ambrosia) probably did most of raising Melchi to be honest, even if Melchi's determination to follow in Fenna's footsteps was about enough to turn him grey with worry. At least their mother has one child to follow in her mad scientist footsteps. He loves his younger brother, no matter his unusual origins. |
