Old Lore from Pendulum

"teach me, please! i need to know how to save them too!"

Unnamed is a strange Wildclaw lady who showed up shortly after Temperance's survivors fled to Light and reformed as Pendulum. The clan initially had an issue with her but a confrontation led to Nyx and others realizing they had immersed themselves in what was unfair and wrong and the clan moved forward and healed together as one. Candor-Faith is an intern as far as roles go.

she was hatched and raised in a flight unknown far in the deepest corners of sornieth. the unnamed wildclaw donned the title of 'unnamed' and wore it fervently - a symbol of who she was and her past and future and everything in-between. when she showed up at pendulum the clan was taken aback by the wildclaw's bold nature and for a time some feared the wildclaw was part of an ambush or, even worse, a sea spirit attempting to squirm her way into the new clan and carry out another Shade breach.

her demeanor was not taken kindly to when nyx opted to welcome her into the clan. smiles and other assassins kept the unnamed under constant surveillance and scrutinized her every thought, action, and feeling - until the unnamed lady felt like she had practically drowned in the shade the clan kept secret. at one point it became too much and the wildclaw lashed out and confronted the clan on their lack of trust and the placement of their anger as it was directed to her and only her when she had yet to do anything. a clan meeting was called and each dragon lined up to voice their fears, worries, hopes, and desires in regards to the unnamed and at last when all the dragons of Pendulum had spoken the unnamed took to the stand herself and voiced everything she felt in that second.

anger and sorrow and grief were but few of the spoken nuances that plagued the wildclaw. she was one forced to seek out a group of dragons who were cooperating with the shade after her family was struck down and consumed by shade-inflicted dragons. her words were sincere and genuine and tears filled her eyes as she spoke and the horror that was expressed in the gaze that stared into nyx was so unnerving the skydancer looked away and kept still. the unnamed wildclaw finished her piece pointing out that though others had been welcomed into the clan none had opted to disregard their dragonkind and very spirit as much as they had her - and the clan realized she was true and right and they began to talk and peel back the layers of doubt and suspicion that were seeded when the previous clan fell.

raw nature can bring change and the clan voiced and recognized a unison of apologies toward the unnamed dragoness. the wildclaw was overwhelmed and in that moment a sense of peace -the first in many eons- fell in her mind and she could look at the others surrounding her as clear as the sunrise and as deep as the moon's shine.

"you will be given a name," Nyx told her. "to prove you are one of us. to prove we are loyal to you. you are to be Candor; for you reminded us when our hearts are dark and clouded we must not fail to turn on the light. you are to be Faith; for you have shown us the stars when we divided the sky. Candor-Faith. you are one with Pendulum."

and so it was.
