Biography

A painfully honest fortune teller. Slightly (mostly) not alive after telling a fortune someone didn't want to hear. Brought back by his brother after that particular incident, the two are never apart for long, despite having been previously emotionally distant with each other. He never acted quite so lively afterwards, often staring off into space for hours at a time. He does not fly, preferring low energy activities such as laying in trees to watch the fodder his brother trains for him. He knows their purpose and yet still can't bring himself to mind much when Beckford goes to such lengths to sustain him. Besides, they knew they were to serve a higher purpose, the only issue is that they were misled about which purpose that would be.

Ethics are harder to hold onto when you're barely keeping ahold of your own body.

If someone notices him and approaches, Laharin will give tiny bits of advice which lead down dark paths lined with stones that make passersby nauseous for weeks after and definitely aren't radioactive because he's pretty sure he would have noticed by now.

He appears normal, at first glance, if a bit disfigured, but those who have learned how to see him clearly will know him for the corpse he is. The slowly spreading rot isn't so uncommon in the Plague lands, but his listlessness is.

Those who attempt to follow him on his walks tend to end up lost in places they are sure were not anywhere nearby, and find they have been gone for no time at all if they find their way home.[/color]
