While some may call arranged pairings between dragons archaic Icenado knows all too well the advantages it brings to her clan. With the utmost care she primps and preps the new hatchlings to disperse into other clans to bolster trade and treaty agreements. She balances each potential pairing between the possible strengths and weaknesses of each dragon. Often she may be seen showing her current wards to potential mates and promoting their future value to a new clan.

As well as handling the future mates for the clan's hatchlings, she also is the one to judge and weigh the worth of any new dragon coming into the clan. More than once she has been dissatisfied with a pairing in her own clan and worried at it. At least until she replaced them with someone more suitable in her eyes. Very rarely does she not have the perfect match in mind for any particular dragon at first sight.
