Vermiculo'Imperatrix was curled up to fit inside a narrow crack in a rock cliff that overlooked the ocean. The sound of the sea roared in her ears as the waves rolled in anger. Lightning flashed high above in the dark grey skies with thunder rolling. She looked up to the sky to watch the lightning show however there was something that caught her attention. Racing high in the skies above were two shadows. One was smaller and bird-like, Vermiculo'Imperatrix thought that it was most likely a harpy. The other shadow was far larger and dragon shaped, possibly a mirror. The fools, thought Vermiculo'Imperatrix, they're going to fall into the sea! She could see it in her mind. The sea told her the impending future for the mirror and the harpy. The mirror would catch the harpy and they would plummet into the waters, locked in combat. Just another tragic death at sea, another disastrous future that she could see. Just as her prediction panned out, the mirror caught the harpy and they began to fall. They fell so fast and crashed into the ocean with a magnificent splash. Thunder boomed above and lightning flashed to illuminate the rolling waves. Vermiculo'Imperatrix looked up at the sky again. There was a strange sound. Was it, more dragons? Were they the mirror's family? Their cries were filled with distress. Vermiculo'Imperatrix pushed herself further into her meager shelter. She shuddered and tried to ignore the cries. It wasn't working very well. She felt her heart crying out with the mysterious dragons. She knew where the mirror had fallen. She could rescue him. Vermiculo'Imperatrix launched out of her shelter and dove into the ocean. The raging waters rolled around her as her body sliced through the currents. She was a water dragon so she was a strong swimmer. Her eyes caught the glint of the mirror's armor. No wonder he wasn't getting back to the surface. His armor was weighing him down and he was tired from the fight with the harpy. Vermiculo'Imperatrix reached out her forepaws and caught the mirror in her grip. She swam to the surface and launched into the sky with heavy beats of her wings to shed the water. Vermiculo'Imperatrix found the dragons crying out in the storm. When she drew closer she could tell that they were calling out a name, Nocte'Bellator. It must've been the mirror's name. Their cries changed from distress to cries of surprise when they spotted her. She landed before them and laid out Nocte'Bellator. He was coughing to get rid of the water in his lungs. A radiant Guardian approached Vermiculo'Imperatrix. She was drenched from the rain of the storm but she still gave off an aura of power. "Thank you so much for saving him," she said, "I am Magna'Mater. What is your name?" Vermiculo'Imperatrix answered, "Vermiculo'Imperatrix. It was no trouble so long as he learns his lesson to not fight harpies in a rainstorm over the ocean." Magna'Mater chuckled. "Knowing him he'll be right back at it in a heartbeat. Regardless, we should repay you for rescuing Nocte'Bellator. Do you have a place to stay Vermiculo'Imperatrix?" "I," started Vermiculo'Imperatrix, "I do not. I am alone." Magna'Mater looked at Vermiculo'Imperatrix with a gentleness to her gaze. "Come with us," she said, "You'll never be alone again if you stay with us." Vermiculo'Imperatrix felt her heart flutter. Would it be possible? Would she be able to stay with this clan? Maybe she'll teach that idiot Nocte'Bellator how to swim properly in armor. Vermiculo'Imperatrix dipped her head in gratitude to Magna'Mater. "Thank you." | . |

The Titan Age Vermiculo'Imperatrix was cast out of the water domain early in her life because she was not very good at foreseeing the future. This was mainly due to her only being able to foretell of disasters in the water and even then it was really more of just feelings or vague images. She is jealous of Tacet'Mare because he is able to control his foresight and is able to see most things. She was brought into Sanguinem Luna after she rescued Nocte'Bellator from the ocean. He had been drowning due to the weight of his armor. Ever since then Nocte'Bellator has been a stalwart companion and fiercely defensive of Vermiculo'Imperatrix's honor. She doesn't mind his doting but sometimes gets annoyed when he tries to join her on her patrols of the clan's local waters. Overall she knows he means well but she doesn't want to rescue his hide from the sea again. Vermiculo'Imperatrix is grateful to Magna'Mater for giving her a place where she can use her gifts for good and also for welcoming her with open wings. Familiar Vermiculo'Imperatrix's Sweetheart Swan has been a good friend to her over the years. It joins her for her patrols. The only exception to that is when it ventures back to its nesting grounds to find a new mate.
