Blizzard
Always calm, a helpful friend, someone who you can trust, someone who truly cares about everyone.
Blizzard is pretty much one of the most liked dragons in the clan. And yet, even though he really is interested in your problems, and helps you out with them. He never really took the chance to really get to know other dragons, with the exception to Ember.
One day, Blizzard just showed up. Claiming on staying here "as long as he needs to". At first some dragons were wary of him. But he was totally okay with sharing where he came from. An lightning born who favored the Icewarden instead, but never was really accepted as a pure ice dragon. When he heard of a clan where he would be taken seriously, he headed over to it. Even if it ment leaving the Southern Icefields for a much warmer climate.
The very next day after arriving he reached out for Ember. He knew something was wrong with her. When he arrived at her door, she didn't really welcome him with open arms. Seeing him as a liar, who gets what he wants with seemingly helpful small talk and showing fake care to people.
"I'm not falling for one of your tricks."
Eventually Blizzard walked away, but didn't have to wait that long to see her again. She ran after him when he went on his first gathering duty. Calling him to stop.
My fire is burning brighter than ever, I can't control it anymore. You need to know what happened. He'll tear us all apart!
Ember told her story, about her chaotic memories. The stunt the feared Imperial pulled on her. And his intentions.
She never really left his side after that. Somehow, his chill attitude reaches as far as the inferno burning inside Ember. Cooling it down. When separated, Ember becomes lost in her own mind. Unable to interact with people.
Together, they balance each other out. The couple of Fire and Ice is how they're called. And because fire melts ice, a stream of water is the result. Adaptable at every situation. In peaceful times, they are a rather enjoyable company to have. But are willing to combat side to side when a threat hovers over them. When the calm brook turns into a fast running, dangerous river. And one day, they will have to let the other dragons know who Ictrem really is.
Blizzard, just like Ember, loves to share encouragement and cheering people up. Where instead Ember does it with a lot of passion and fury, Blizzard rather uses calmness and self-confidence to give advice.
