❝ DISTINGUISHING TRAITS ❞
He's your regular piece of eye candy, to put it bluntly, but beware any dragon who lets looks fool them. Reuel is every bit as hot-headed as he is finely-sculpted, with an arrogant, self-assured nature and a perpetual smirk. He's overly fond of his vibrant colours, and flaunts them at every possible opportunity. Being blessed with a fine, well-muscled figure, large wings and muscular shoulders, he is incredibly confident when on the social field.

❝ PERSONALITY ❞
If you're looking for a showpony, seek no more, fellow traveller - Reuel is the dragon you'll find at the front of any expedition, leading the way in his confident, well-governed manner. It is many the hapless heart - or eye - which follows this young dragon, although it takes more than a pretty face to win him over.He is incredibly quick to judge other dragons, especially based on outward appearance - grooming, mannerisms, demeanour. He's prone to incredible mood swings, too, and can be miraculously petty and sensitive. Ever the drama queen, he loves being the centre of attention - although he knows how to have a good time, and can be quite enjoyable. He is incredibly susceptible to pressure.

❝ ORIGINS ❞
Reuel, as with many of the Haven's first members, was brought into the clan as an egg. Many, including himself, have heard the somewhat questionable story behind his original clan: his egg was found on a scavenging mission, out on the outskirts of a Fire clan. An unguarded nest is ever an easy target; and to a passing Plague dragon, resistance is a word with no meaning.And thus it was that he was snatched; taken as loot into the Haven, he was hatched and trained as a warrior of the clan.
Perhaps it was his differing heritage which caused him to become the way he is today; having observed his fellow non-Plague clanmates, he became determined to change the fate of exclusion which seemed predestined for him. He began to shun dragons such as himself for higher-ranking, red-eyed seniors, in the hopes that some of their reputation would rub off on him. And indeed, it has; for since then, Reuel has grown to become quite the picture perfect; handsome and confident, he is regarded by many as the epitome of a Havenborn dragon.

Although he'll never admit it aloud, Reuel harbours an infinite respect for Pikk, regarding him as an authority and thus someone to impress. Granted, his overly-supercilious nature has earned him many a cuff of the paw; nonethless, he persists in somewhat tragic attempts to impress the clan founder, with little to no avail.
Arastina is one of the few dragons Reuel outright fears; be it her ferocious glare or whip-sharp tongue, he prefers to avoid her company.
Having the clan founder as a father has earned Fala the upper hand with Reuel; he is a regular visitor of hers, and constantly flaunting his looks and superficial talents in an attempt to win her favour. Whether this attraction is based on her rank is yet to be determined by their clanmates; for the time being, however, his flirtatious visits are inevitably unsuccessful. She quickly becomes bored by his quips and bluster, and he in turn finds her rather difficult.
He's somewhat tolerant of Cattail, although privately finds her rather boring. As a fellow Guardian and non-Plague member, he makes an effort to remain on fairly good terms with her - while in crowds he barely glances his acknowledgement, when alone together he generally maintains a polite - though somewhat distant - image.
Due to her close friendship with Fala, Reuel often practices his many "skills" and flaunts around Roxanne - much to the dragoness' delight.
Aerfen is a dragon Reuel considers to be neither friend nor foe. The two actually get on quite well, although Reuel is somewhat intimidated by the Pearlcatcher's friendship with Fala. When around the dragoness, he will regularly attempt to best him.
One of Reuel's defining traits is his confidence in himself; when he initially met Nala, he interpreted their constant affections and "babying" of clanmates as an attempt to ridicule him. Nala has been oddly persistent with these, however; at the present time, he tolerates them, and in truth is rather fond of them.
