Royal

Born of the first clutch between the queen of the Tempest clan and her mate recently returned from serving the Icewarden for decades, Neren is one of the pure royal children in line to inherit the throne. However, since the queen has many, many children - not even counting his half-siblings from the Royal Consort's line - Neren has instead sought out other ways to improve himself and be useful to his clan.

Brought up in a clan filled with coatls, otherworldly beings and harpy beastclan, Neren was raised to be proficient in many languages. It was only when interacting with other clans that he found out what a valuable skill set that was, and gradually he was trained to act as translator and diplomat for the clan.

However, with the return of the former king the power shift in the clan brewed animosities, and the line of succession - and it's continuity - was threatened. For the royal hatchlings' safety the queen saw fit to send them away to be raised and live among friendly clans.
And so Neren found himself boarding the Windbloom and meeting his half-brother, Merion, for the first time.
