Role

Memphis puts his ample experience with whimsical airheads back in the Starfall Isles to good use counselling the marginally more focused inhabitants of the Sunbeam Ruins. A sound mind is required to even survive in the Manor, and a strong stomach comes highly recommended. If Memphis's patience and exemplary listening skills don't make the cut, highly stressed or traumatised individuals can try his world-class yoga lessons - guaranteed to improve your blood pressure, flexibility and overall happiness with life! (Fine print: 'improve' is a very subjective word, in Memphis's opinion, and so is 'yoga').

Personality

While Memphis does do his utmost to provide a calming therapeutic environment, his visitors generally derive most benefit from his laid-back personality and abundance of inappropriate puns. Memphis is also one of the most optimistic dragons in the clan, and is able to find silver linings when the Manor is literally on fire. It's quite hard to lament your own problems when you're in the proximity of someone who can't help but find the bright side in every situation and will move mountains to make you see them, too.

Background

At first, Memphis was quite ambivalent about moving to the Sunbeam Ruins: he'd actually meant to settle in the Windswept Plateau, as he'd heard promising things about their work ethic (or rather, lack thereof). The Sunbeam Ruins had a reputation for being full of studious academics, who were exactly the type of people Memphis was trying to get away from. Once he actually witnessed Al attempting to pry a priceless stone tablet from an ancient temple via a fishhook and half a loaf of stale bread, Memphis realised two things. One, slackers can be found in every flight, and two: these were his people.
