Clan Bounty Hunter
An ambitious role that hunts bounties, obviously. Fit for the most able and combative dragons, though some who take the job may have some slight conditons... History Whilst Hymn's past isn't a complete certainty, she tells her own story with an earnest that is unnatural for a dragon of her likeness. She was a hatchling, bid for and sold, who was dragged into a Clan with dark origins. She lacked any skill, that was until she heard the voices. She listened to them. They made her great, made her stronger. But her own Clan was scared of this power, so they attacked. She killed all of them, taking orders from her only master, the Shade. She travelled lands and destroyed homes, until one such mission brought her to Carmin's Clan. As soon as the Imperial entered, she had been overwhelmed. The Light of intent here was so strong that it lashed at the darkness infecting her, driving it away, leaving in its wake a demented dragoness with nothing more but a terrible childhood and her sins to remember. Personality Hymn is a scarily rough dragoness with an adaption for murder. She loves the thrill of battle and the taste of blood after victory, engaging enemies for the sole purpose of sating her appetite. She enjoys basking in her overruling bulk and scaring smaller dragons with yellowed fangs their size. While she may have not always been like this, it's hard to picture her as kind at all. Often times, Hymn is lazy, tearing off shed scales or sharpening her claws. Though she is delicate while taking care of herself, opponents will see no such patience. In fact, the dragoness enjoys watching them writhe and squirm in her claws before finishing them off quickly. She's only a bounty hunter for the reason of catching the criminals, so she can punish those who think they're good enough to get away with crime -- she's gotten away with murders. Several of them. She is a maniacal creature and may seem normal at first, but if a dragon even glances at those glittering eyes and readied claws they are instantly deterred. Residence The Hollows A large wall spotted with shallow holes. Somehow, bamboo pokes horizontally through this otherwise dry cliff face, and the shallow holes are smooth, dipping down enough to keep the warm in and the rain out. Hymn has possessed a large, and open space with a tall pillar in the centre. With her large size, Hymn presses herself against the wall when she sleeps, she doesn't need a nest. Sharp bones and skulls lie around the area, some forgotten and buried in the dust, others polished and shined each and every day. But Hymn's most prized possession is a small vial seemingly containing a liquid darkness that leans against the main pillar, nobody knows quite what it is. |
