Xanthantha is a Priestess within the lair. Her pearl often doubles as a 'crystal' ball (and when she is in a shadow tricky mood - a snow globe). She can also gaze into her familiar Pendulum's eyes as well and have a trio of visions to see. She has very strong emotions and uses the masque to keep from displaying what she sees on her face. One of her talents is locating the best places for the gatherers to catch insects, as the insect eating population of the lair is high.
She has no current mate, as she prefers to spend her time in meditation. The lair gifted her with crimson armband in appreciation of her divining talents. She is friends with a newer member of Moonlit Nyyt Weir, Liriel, who hails from The Tyym if Sixx. The two, neither of whom are much interested in mates or eggs, spend a great deal of time in meditation and enforce the spiritual protection around the weyr. Xanthe also collects flags.
