Biography
Sometimes Danny missed the shadows he had come from, and the airship Piper would sweep through darkened skies over tangled fens brightened only by glowing mushrooms. Yet when he sought the dark, he found himself missing the bright cheer of home. Even without a burning sun in the sky, the vibrant colours of Beautifly's exotic scales were eye catching.
They sailed the air currents over her ocean birthplace, then over lush green land. The Windborn crew took the airship higher and higher, though a madness of wind until they floated above the clouds. There the cool air was filled with music. Dragons played, they sang. From one floating balloon to the next soaring kite, their music rang out. One clan, then another would keep the song going. There was no silence, but there was a kind of welcoming peace. Like all Wind clans, Peacebound loved visitors and Beautifly was welcomed and adored. When she was ready, she was tucked back into the airship with a pile of trinkets and a trio of hatchlings. The ship would once more dare the shadows to return the treasure it had... borrowed.
