As a hatchling he always displayed exeptional magic powers, he was trained by his clan Wizard and quickly mastered his abilities but after graduating the clan got engaged in a war with other clans.
Axolotl along with Teka and Stargazer were caught in the middle of a clan battle and survived, Axolotl took care of Teka and Stargazer who were just weeks old Hatchlings. after months of searching and hatchlings becoming Dragonets they found the Kegnet clan and asked for shelter. they were accepted and now live confortably and safe. After some months he told Chesarr and Brotic about his powers thing that amazed them and later on he got the opportunity to train Anakin and Keeva
