In-progress bio outline:

*Born in the same clan and near the same time as Mikos. The clan was overjoyed to have two Infused children born one after the other and considered it a great blessing and sign of favor from Flamecaller.

*The two greatest forges in the area were given the honor of hosting them, partly as assistants but mostly as figureheads. Or, as Elin would bitterly put it, mascots.

*She was not satisfied at all with the idea of a life spent standing next to a forge and smiling at customers and passers by, lending her powers out when asked, little more than an advertisement and a battery.

*Before she and Mikos were both supposed to depart for their new homes she slipped away and found him to speak in private, urging him to agree with her and flee together to make their lives what they wanted them to be, rather than following the path they were assigned.

*Now that they're free to travel and chase their passions, she dedicates her time to learning all sorts of songs and stories, memorizing them and spreading the best ones far and wide.
