Always the depths sang to him, the deep cold waters of forbidden knowledge and forgotten dreams. Always he was held back, distracted and controlled. The elders of his clan feared for his sanity and sight, but at the time Qwuin feared nothing. Back then he was know as Lovatesh, a young aspiring seer of great potential. Told too many times of the greatness he might harvest his ego grew along his skills. He spoke boldly, loudly and without respect. He did not heed the old stories, too absorbed the blinding lure of a greater future. Lovatesh grew arrogant and narcissistic, believing that he was to bring back the Rhevari, the exalted oracles of old. He had seen that he would, so why shouldn’t it be true? However Lovatesh did not know the darker stories of the Rhevari, he refused to listen when the elders told him they had disturbed something they shouldn’t. That while their era was great they were better left forgotten. His ignorance of the past was what doomed him in the end. When he finally found an opportunity to follow the siren call of the deep, a chance to ignore countless warnings he had received through the years, he took it without hesitation. All he knew was that there was something in that dark he craved, that he needed. Down he swam, and soon light disappeared. Here his eyes would not guide him, and he had to rely on his innate knowledge of the sea, to sense what was. However this was not the Tidelord’s sea, and it lead Lovatesh astray, leaving him lost and confused. When he finally turned desperate, starved and pleading the way opened up for him like a hungry maw. Lovatesh had found the Blind Keep, one of the ancient forgotten Shade Prison. “Let us out” voices whispered to him, “let us out and be rewarded”. Mindless and blinded he sought for away to free the voices, exploring the abandoned keep. He went deeper and deeper, and the voices grew louder. “Long millennia has passed since a wanderer last came to these halls” “What do you seek little light?” When the pressure almost became too much for even his magically enhanced body Lovatesh suddenly found himself somewhere else. Here it was black and blind too, but he could sense nothing. This was not a sea of water. “Welcome to the Abyss my seeker” the voice purred, “you will be the one to release my Quaril, to champion my hold upon the worthless material world”. Lovatesh could naught but mutely nod, overwhelmed by the presence surrounding him. The voice continued, “when you return, release your fellows. I have given you the power.” Suddenly cold water came surging back in, and Lovatesh knew what he had to do. He went to each of the imprisoned and sleeping Quaril, awakening them with the spark of the power he had received. With the Quaril now released back into the world Lovatesh was ready to shed his old self. “Who are you little light?” the Quaril asked. “Qwuin, Blessed Priest of the Leviathan” he answered and his soul was dark. |

ABILITIES: -  Blessed by the Abyss: As the Leviathan's chosen Qwuin is able to use the Abyss to travel where he pleases. The Abyss is the Leviathan's Realm in the Greyscape, a place that is a nightmarish rendition of the Blind Keep. He uses this to delve into the depths of the world... or the mind.-  Quaril: The Quaril are shades of the former servants of the Tidelord called the Rhevari. They specialize in doomsday visions, and bringing the Shade's will into reality. However, most of the potential futures are lost to them, and the Quaril can only see one where all of reality has been devoured. Likewise their eyes can only follow the past of the Shade. All they can see is the destruction of a thousand worlds.
