Personality
▬▬▬▬▬▬ Iatro is short for Iatrophobia, the Fear of Doctors. In fact, 'Fear of Doctors' is how it describes itself when it is imitating draconic conversation with the Fear of Being Trapped (which seems to prefer the draconic nickname of Cleithro). It is an able mimic, frequently able to hide in the shadows of darkness or don a labcoat and pretend to be a doctor when out hunting at night. It tends to refer to itself with the name Iatro, that the Fear of Being Trapped gave it, in order to assist its mimicry on those occasions. All it needs do is wander the wards a bit, and it won't even need to focus on its dinner to be sated. Sometimes it will, though. The actual doctors always insist that 'Iatro' is not an actual staff member. And they can never figure out why a patient without any brain damage will be found in the morning completely comatose. |

History
▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Fear of Doctors was perfectly content wandering dreams, occasionally praying on the right dragons. But someone brought it to the perfect hunting grounds, full of dreams and nightmares and fears of exactly the place they were inside. That someone was the Fear of Being Trapped, who seemed very much to have become...almost a dragon. Unthinkable! Much better to hunt and feed and stalk by night. There is nothing in existence apart from that. How could there be? It even made how close it is to the dragons known by insisting that the Fear of Doctors wear a piece of draconic apparel, which it has because it can't be bothered to take it off. The Fear of Being Trapped has definitely made a nice lair in which to rest, however, even if it rarely stays there. And a dragon that doesn't seem afraid of anything frequents the lair a great deal, simply watching. Is this wise? The dragon should know it is in danger. Is this wise? It is not afraid and could easily be a threat. The Fear of Doctors tends to hide in the shadows on these occasions. And then come out at night to hunt and to feed because that's all there is to existence... |
