GHETSIS HARMONIA

Sage and Founder of Team Plasma

H I S T O R Y

A circumstance far out of his power, Ghetsis was born the runt of his litter, a tragedy that he might have outgrown given the chance, but not long after he was given life was he kicked from the clan he had hatched in. Food was scarce, they had said, and, given a runt was the least likely to survive anyways, Ghetsis was the only logical choice to cut off, like deciding to sever a gangrenous limb than attempting to save it.

With his mind made up for him, he was forced to wander the Wandering Contagion, terrible and pestilent, as if being punished (or perhaps tried?) for some unknown deed he had done or perhaps would do. In so young a head, there were easy enough explanations for what he had done—cried too loudly, hurt his littermates, and annoyed his other clan members—but it wasn't until he would grow that the true meaning of 'struggle' would enter his brain, a wasp-like disease of both the physical and the mental. However, Ghetsis did not know much beyond himself, but he knew that if he could survive alone in the plains of Plague, then that he could do anything. But what was anything?

C H A R A C T E R

Few dragons would have had the perseverance Ghetsis had when confronted with such a dire situation, but not only did Ghetsis survive, he thrived, and his flourishing shaped his personality, a personality one could almost call deceptive. Those who met him could all collectively agree that he was a great leader, a testament to his generosity and empathy, but those who knew him could also agree that Ghetsis had a mean streak wider than the Wyrmwound (and all the more deadly). It is due to this mean streak that most dragons do not dare step out of line or, better yet, even approach the line because, as a survivor of the Wandering Contagion's hardships, Ghetsis was a veteran to which the others showed their respect blithely.

But based on his leadership and outward qualities of understanding and kindness, Ghetsis attracted a few dragons to begin the clan of Team Plasma, a troupe of like-minded individuals with like-minded goals. Those who appreciated his guidance were welcomed into his clan and those who didn't were swiftly supplanted, as Ghetsis has very little patience for the unwilling or the saboteurs.

The group hinges on Ghetsis' abilities, namely his government, to persist, not because they must (there are, after all, more clans than his in the Scarred Wasteland), but because they want to. Few dragons are more fair in his treatment of others but also firm in his ethics without bearing too heavily on everyone else. For when Ghetsis founded Team Plasma, he remembered what it felt like to be alone with no one to help him, and those that were supposed to help him only stranded him on an island of loneliness, and in recollection of those painful memories, Ghetsis decided that no dragon would feel that same overpowering helplessness.
