Sadie's log ; data 8/17/2016 Sadie is slowly getting used to the new changes of her new home. She makes her way towards the large water hole to get a taste of water. She's learning how to survive without her sisters to help her along the way. She'd much rather be with her sister than here. But who knows she might get along with someone. dated; 8/22/2016 well.. I'm older now. It's wonderful being able to see everyone's eyes and not having to crawl my way around them. My wings are no longer weak and they can pick me up! I'll try my hand out smithing. Harley seems nice. • • • I arrive at Harley den. I can hear a faint wheel grinding in the back of the black walls. She must be wielding something. Maybe I should wait. "Harley?" I call out after a few minutes have passed. "Harley it's me, Sadie. I hope I'm dispersing you." -to be continued- dated 8/20/2016 This place isn't so bad. They have hatchling that comes in daily but I only get to say hi once or twice before I don't see them anymore. This place is a little cold and disheartening but I'm sure they are fine. I may be a little still new that's all. Bailey and Mala are very kind towards me. Maybe, they'll let me strong and wise like them?! dated 9/29/2016 Oh, man. I'm late for updating my logs. I ashore you everything is okay my dear mother. I've learned that the lair isn't always it seems. I learned that Harley is about to get overthrown off the queen role. I'm taking part in the Knights part of town. Here, I can find myself holding weapons that mother doesn't approve of such ways. Father, is proud that his little girl is growing up fine without no trouble. I hope to settle down with a nice lad. I'm not sure if I'm ready yet. Bailey hasn't spoken to anyone in the lair since Mala, toward not to be so stubborn. They wanted to throw me out last night. Until Gwern defend me. He knows so they didn't really yell at him. Weird. When I was new and a hatchling they lashed out at me. Told me I was unwelcome here. I guess times are tough at the lair. I guess will see what lies ahead. dated 10/12/2016 Master gave me a sweater. It's getting quite cold here. I'm wondering if it's time to hibernate. --- Oh.. dear.. Halloween is near it scares me. I don't know why I just don't like going outside and scaring people. I like nice people. People can be so rude sometimes. I don't know I haven't updated my blog in awhile so this is a much-needed note. I'm enjoying it here so far but I might have to go into hibernation. It's getting cold here colder than it was. I should've stayed with my parents. But I guess it's better now they got me a sweater to keep me nice and warm. I like it although it's a bit too big for me I think a guardian wore it before me. What else.. OH! Rayna.. a beautiful nocturne is taking the throne of this 'Dusk Parts' lair. I really like the lair name and their lore. Rayna's a jewel maker for stuff, I still have yet to get something from her does she not like me? No, every one loves me. I don't know.. My head hurts. I tend to stay under my friend's warm fur. Seems, as though he's moved on and lift me so now I have to find someone different. dated 11/18/16 I hope my owner finds me mate sometime soon. I really want my own child so, I can tell them to get me something that is too far for me to reach. I'm kidding. I'll love them so much that'd I'd stalk their new owners lair 24/7 just to make they are being cared for. I hope to find someone who will love me for me and not who they want me to become. dated 12/13/16 Seems, I forgot to updated my log book. Forgive me, mother, for I have not done wrong the harsh weather is just too hard to write in my claws tear at the paper that I hold onto when I'm trying to write. So, my master gave me some new items to wear. I swear they are much warmer than the sweater I had on. Not only that but that pesky dove is gone! For now at least. I like this outfit she has given me. I hope you and father are doing well. I have still yet to find myself settled down with a someone. dated 12/26/2017 Tomorrow is master zayev birthday. I should give her something special as she's given me a home and a place to rest my head at night. Poor master won't be able to see her kin tomorrow. Maybe, I'll find her a new kin. dated 2/27/2017 I overheard Zayev tell the others that I'll be getting a mate! Hopefully, it's true. sometimes I normally don't get what I've wished for. Overheard Dapper, telling Jasmine that Molten is a plague doctor undercover as water doctor. I don't even understand why we have doctors, not in the lair has yet to get sick. I think I just said that someone is gonna get sick now. Never fails, if you ask me. Molten seems nice if you ask me. dated 3/31/2017 I haven't been updating this login for awhile. Not much has happened on this lair. New hatchling being arriving from left and right now that Zay, has been learning new things I swear she hasn't found me a mate yet in a long time. Although, I've had my eyes on someone in the lair for a long time but.. sadly he's taken as of now. I'm hoping Zay, finds me someone I'm getting tired of watching everyone else have offspring. I'm gonna die alone! In other news though, we got a special baby in the lair her names Wisteria something.. I hope she gets a new name.. much easier to spell than that. dated 4/20/2017 Zayev, got me a mate mother! can you believe that!? Although, I don't think she's gonna be happy about it.. He's an imperial of not my own species. I hope she doesn't mind. He really cares about kids though. Like you have no idea. Other than that he got me new things to wear. -- 'aren't I pretty mommy?' ah, I hardly bet she looks back in here anyway as in how I'm doing. Well, I hope you are doing well mommy. I'll have to come and visit you someday and stay the night for a day with you. I'm doing fine with the new lair mates remember when I was little and no wanted me here to stay! Now they've asked me to stay permanently! I've also, asked me if I'd be a den mother. I'm not really sure what that means but I'm okay with it I suppose. I'll write later on the mother. dated 5/20/2017 I guess my mate didn't go so well with the others. Norbert didn't last long for the lair. He left and hasn't returned I guess he's never returning. I forgot what he even looked like. As for the kids, they are grown up and left the lair for better things to do rather than stay with their dear more. Summer is almost here I guess. I don't know I haven't much for going outside the den I've been caring for the hatchling and helping them learn to keep away from danger and such. I'm an ok mom. I've had three of mine own that counts for something! Can you believe I've been in this den for about 9 months now! I'm so old but I'm still a young pup. I say that but when the little hatchling starting flying around I'm like "GET DOWN." I can't keep up with them for the life of me. dated 7/15/2017 so, I heard that the leader of the clan was gonna get exalt I hope that's not true. I would miss them. Maybe she's just sick I haven't seen her for awhile nor him either for that matter. - - - - turns out she was she hasn't seen her face since she's always had a mask on her face. Without a doubt though she's very pretty. dated 8/17/2017 that date is very weird, 8/17/17. Two dragons came to the lair today, they are very pretty indeed. The male is handsome! dated 11/2/18 I heard winter is coming. Take it back. I'm done with all the coldness. I love being warm. Zayev, gave me a sweater to stay warm! So, I won't freeze to death!! dated 3/6/19 Has been a year around? Many time flies when your just in cold weather despite being in hibernation. I'm not alone in here tonight though like I normally am! This time about 6-7 of my den mates are with me this time. I can hardly wait for a new life ro begin but I'm gonna probably stay in here forever. I got no plan to leave. I guess you could say I'm a burn out snake. I'll be fine though dont you worry. Man.. even a new clan leader. I hope one day o get to be clean leader. Mostly likely not though..

Southern Garter Noodles

It is unknown when these spirals were actually discovered, but at the time, they were actually pretty plentiful, seeming to share characteristics to a native snake species in the Mire. However, with the constant exploration and rare expansion into the mire, these spirals where forced to flee and some were even forced to change genes-breeds and such to adapt to life outside the mire. So it is very rare to see these spirals in the mire now, however, they have been seen in other areas as well besides the mire.

They tend to be very shy spirals, sleeping in high branches and acting different to other spirals, thus are not actively accepted by "normal" spirals. However, these spirals can also seem sociable at times too once they've gotten to know others and often times their first friends are mirrors surprisingly due to the way these spirals hunt as it interests mirrors. The second dragon they make friends fast with are nocturnes obviously due to their copy cat like natures, however, other spirals don't often become friends with these ones.

Habits
Primarily active during daylight.
A good swimmer.
This species is capable of activity at lower temperatures than other species of spirals.

Defense
Often escapes into water when threatened. When first handled, they often releases cloacal contents and musk, and strikes.

Diet and Feeding
Eats a wide variety of prey, including amphibians and their larvae (the heartred croaker, is a main food source), fish, birds, and their eggs, small mammals, reptiles, earthworms, slugs, and leeches. This snake is able to eat adult newts that are extremely poisonous to most predators.

Mating occurs between early spring to mid summer, allowing hatchlings to arrive from mid spring to late summer and at rare times during warm fall periods where they're slight hibernative state is disrupted.

Mates also tend to wear mating items to show their commitment to each other, be it matching scarves, sweaters, coats, or even matching rings. Committed Garter Spirals never take these items off unless absolutely necessary. This is mainly to let other dragons and garters know that they are taken and not looking for another mate at the time. When one garter passes away, the surviving garter often times either digs a hole and places their matching object in it to mark where they will be buried, or hang the matching item in their lair to remind them of their past mate and the good times they had.
When leaving each other such as no longer wanting to be mates, the males exchange their matching items with the new dragon that is to be the females new mate, so to keep them matching at all times, this shows females have a slightly higher priority then males.
