There's not much that phases tough little Cherry, who hatched from an orphaned egg sold by an unscrupulous trader and rescued by Clan Magpie. She's a tidy thinker whose compact size makes her easy to overlook, but she can have explosive impact when she sets her mind to something.

Cherry is devoted to her mate, Determinate, another adoptee of the clan. Though Determinate is robust and Cherry has been described as "bite-sized," Cherry is distinctly the guiding personality in their relationship, as her unobtrusive focus balances his tendency to rambling thoughts.
