Note to self: message OfCrystalAndOre when Tree has bio/lore finished. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . This little Pearlcatcher may be born in a Lightning nest and living in a Plague clan, but she's as 'one with nature' as any dragon can get. Rumour among the clan is that she's an actual tree magically granted sentience, and while some eschew that as silliness, Tree only ever responds with a smile and, "I am what I am; I am not what I am not." Regardless of what she is or isn't in the 'magical tree vs dragon' debate, Tree is a very enthusiastic lover of life inspired by the uniquely tree-like appearance of her genes. As a hatchling, she was distressed by being mistaken as anything other than a dragon, but as beautiful butterflies and friendly cats began to flock to her rather than fleeing like they did from the more... shocky... members of her Lightning clan, she realized how amazing the world could be. Tree set out to see the world soon after she reached maturity, and couldn't resist the call of curiosity when she heard of a Plague clan with a sustained greenhouse. It wasn't quite what she expected (underground tunnels hide the greenhouse, which is really just a cavern with extensive Nature magic put to work), but as soon as she met the lone gourd-dragon, Punkin, who lived in the greenhouse, Tree knew she'd found the place where she was needed even if not necessarily the place she belonged. The Brotherhood needed a little more peace and greenery in their lives, and she was just the dragon to bring it... And the dragon to begin expanding the greenhouse into a proper escape from the outside environment, with the help of clanmates with Nature magic, of course. You'll also never catch Tree eating insects, no matter what creepy-crawly snacks her fellow Pearlcatchers recommend; she loves them far too much. But then, she also loves plants, so eating them is almost ritualistic for Tree. She has to be at peace with the plant's destruction: a task which is luckily quite easy in Plague lands, where friendly plants are few and far between.
