Biography

Occupation: Artisan
Clan Status: Middle to Low
Mate: Tainyo

Serrakeim was born into the clan and was always very connected to his family, particularly to his brother. The two siblings always spent time together, but as they grew older, Serrakeim developed a more sensative nature, while Oxi became more brash and reckless. The brothers' mother tried her best to gently guide Oxi away from these behaviors, but this only made him angry and resentful towards his family and brother, who was always trying to do the right thing. Eventually, Oxi's anger exploded and he attacked his father in a fit of rage. Oxi was quickly subdued, though not before scarring the front of his father's body. It was decided by the clan that Oxi would be banished from the clan until he was able to prove he could control his anger. Serrakeim, however, was horrified at the thought of losing his brother and offered to go with Oxi into the wild and vouch for him when he did decide to return to the clan. Though they were hesitant, the higher members of the clan agreed to let him go and the two brothers left the clan.

Once they had left the clan, Oxi turned on his brother, furious that he was forced to carry a 'chaperone' around with him for the rest of his banishment. Though Serrakeim tried to explain that he only wanted to help his brother, Oxi refused his help and abandoned him before they had even left the Viridian Labyrinth. Confused and upset by the fact that he had already failed his assignment, Serrakeim began to sadly make his way back to his clan. Before he got there though, he was met by Tainyo, a Tundra also from Jae's clan. Tainyo explained that the clan had revoted and come to the decision to permanently banish Oxi. It was imperative that Oxi returned and apologized immediately, before it was too late. Tainyo and Serrakeim became partners and went to find Oxi and bring him back before it was too late.

Tainyo and Serrakeim traveled as quickly as possible, following the tracks that Oxi had made. As they continued on their journey, Serrakeim became more and more distressed, fearful of losing his only brother. Tainyo comforted the young Wildclaw, promising that everything would work out in the end, and vowing to bring Oxi home safely. The two scoured the regions and eventually discovered recent tracks, hopefully belonging to Oxi. Unfortunately, the tracks turned out to be a trap, set by a band of rouge dragons hoping to lure others in for their treasure. They had captured Oxi after he inadvertently told them other dragons were looking for him. Serrakeim and Tainyo were able to defeat the small band and free Oxi. All appeared to be well until Serrakeim discovered that Tainyo had been badly wounded in the fight.

Serrakeim begged his brother to help him save Tainyo and take him back to the tribe. Oxi accepted, unable to leave a fellow clanmate to die. Together, they carried Tainyo back to the clan, where he was immediately treated by Ashama and Foxglove. Oxi apologized for his attack, explaining that he hadn't realized how important the clan was to him until Tainyo was on the verge of death. The clan accepted him, though he was sentenced to remain at the lowest rank for the rest of his life.

Serrakeim refused to leave Tainyo's side until he was healed. As soon as the Tundra was back to full health, Serrakeim confessed that he had never felt so close to another dragon. Tainyo felt the same way and they became mates, despite being unable to have hatchlings. Serrakeim contributed to his clan by becoming a skilled craftsman, creating jewelry and trinkets from almost anything Tainyo could provide for him. Though he wasn't a fighter, Serrakeim was loved and accepted for his quiet bravery and talent.
