Formerly the only living dancer amongst Cyval's traveling troupe. Euphorium is spellbinding and haunting in their movements, and was able to put many into a trancelike state in their more public displays. Of course, the best of their talents were reserved for private shows, which cost a pretty penny - more than most could properly afford. Euphorium never thought twice of turning away clients they deemed unworthy; if you cannot pay - or if you rub them the wrong way - you are lucky to have ever gazed upon them at all, as far as they're concerned. Cold and callous to most, it's no surprise the bulk of their companions were the ghosts the carnival plays host to. Later taken in a raid by Arslan's men, Euphorium found themselves trapped alongside many others within the Raider King's compound. They maintained a fierce hatred for the men who took them, but eventually formed a more amicable relationship with Arslan himself, particularly due to his tendency to offer rather appealing gifts. They later had two children. When a mutiny sprung up within said compound, Euphorium and Sanctus - their remaining son - successfully fled, losing track of Arslan and the other people who had been kept within Arslan's harem. Though physically unharmed, the two had nothing save for the clothes on their backs. Euphorium immediately sought a safe place from which they could rest and later rebuild. Soon, Euphorium felt a "pull" to a distant place - one they were certain had wealth and stability. In spite of Sanctus wishing to find his father, he followed his mother to what turned out to be a vast mansion kept by a solitary coatl. Euphorium was met with bemusement, but neither the skydancer nor their son were turned away. |
