A widely trusted and highly influential presence on the Sanctuary island, Wintermint is a teacher of therapeutic dance, a more than valuable service in a clan of outcasts and refugees. Twice a day she leads a judgment-free silent dance in her garden, where all attendees and musicians are under oath not to divulge the identities of the other dancers, or talk to them about their session. Her morning dances are subdued and uplifting, hosted in the light of the sunrise when the wind still blows chilly onto the scales and coats of the attendees. Her night dances are fast paced and loud, roaring around her fire pit under the stars so the dancers can only see each other in orange flashes as they stomp and thrash wildly, releasing pent up emotion.

Wintermint is a kind and calm soul, who made her way to the Sanctuary as soon as she heard their call for assistance, but few know the full story of her origins in the Sanctuary's sister clan. She was the middle of a nest of four sisters, and while all four of them received the best care during their time at home, she was never happy being part of a matching set. She bode her clan and parents a grateful goodbye, and has reveled in the feeling of uniqueness and individuality she gained from striking out on her own. She reassures herself regularly that she is unique, that there's only one Wintermint out there, that no one has followed her path.
Wintermint consistently feels threatened by other dragons copying her in any capacity, and while it is of course a slow going recovery, Wintermint is making great progress in her counseling on the matter.
