Perseverance is key in the tepid, acrid expanse of the Scarred Wasteland.

Azazel is a ruthless and cruel leader, and dragons that cannot keep up with him are often swiftly cut off and left to die. He's a firm believer in kill-or-be-killed, and his solitary nature mixed with his personal no-relationship policy are the only things that have gotten him this far. Azazel had been a solitary wanderer for years, fighting, killing, and lying his way through the Wasteland until he stumbled across Verivala in a stroke of luck. His authoritative aura drew dragonfolk to him, and soon after his arrival, the clan was looking to him for guidance.

Had things gone his way, Azazel would have driven Verivala to the very top of the Wasteland, with only the strongest and most devoted dragons within their ranks. He wants the clan's name to be whispered with fear; a rippling threat that seeps into every crevice of the pockmarked wasteland. However, Octja's resistance against his ideals was an obstacle he hadn't seen coming.

It was Azazel who initially drove the wedge between Verivala's occupants. He is cunning and, despite what he preaches, does not mind playing dirty to get what he wants. Once the seed of doubt had been planted, he found it easy to manipulate the clan into separate factions, and is slowly working towards overthrowing Octja, and taking complete control of the clan.
