ISADORE
ambitious - reckless - blunt 
Isadore. A sweet name for a sweet dragon - or so you would suppose. Isadore is anything but sweet, born into a plague clan and its vicious hierarchy. Her father, Pallaras, was of high rank. His adoptive mother was the leader's right hand dragon, and so Isa was born into bloody royalty, trained to fight and command. As such, she has a hard time taking orders from other dragons - she became so used to giving them that she never really learned how to follow them nicely. When you start off your life in a green pustule, when the first thing you open your eyes to see is carnage, you have to learn how to fight. And so Isadore learned from a young age: slash here, stab there, bite that one and not the other. Her teeth and claws are stained with the blood of her former enemies, opponents who dared to challenge her. In battle she is a reckless, whirling monster, not afraid to let her mouth spill Draconian curses, crude phrases most mothers would gasp at. Isa especially loves starting these fights. She will willingly go into battle just to cause bloodshed, even if she is horribly outnumbered, even if she has absolutely no chance of winning and will end up bloodied on the ground. You would think losing would knock some sense into her, but repeatedly Isa causes fights among clanmates, snapping and snarling like a feral animal. She does not care what others think about her, whether they have a negative opinion of her or not. Isa lives in the moment, saying what she thinks with no filter whatsoever, openly cursing and offering slick remarks that may earn her a smack on the head by an older dragon. This treatment means nothing to her, as she is always showing off her battle scars, offering stories of the plague and the mafia to hatchlings, striking fear into others. But there is one side to Isadore very few ever see - the sweet side. Isadore loves her father and her mate and is extremely open to both of them, giving them affectionate coos and head rubs, offering quiet words of kindness. She is very protective of her father, though, always checking up on him, making sure he is being treated the best. He lived a different life in the Den of The Pestilence, and as such she treats him differently. Any hateful words directed at him always pass through Isadore, and she has zero tolerance for harm towards her father or around their heritage; especially insults about her coatl grandmother, Isadore, who Pallaras speaks of fondly. |
