SU SPOILERS FOR "EARTHLINGS" AND "BACK TO THE MOON"


Pink Diamond is a long story. When she was first introduced to the clan by the Hunting Party, who found her lost in the woods, nobody really cared, except for Jasper--who immediately dropped all her syrup bottles, tiger plushies, and cried. The other "Diamonds" merely gave Pink a bad glance and continued filing eachother's claws and playing with Yellow Pearl on strings as if she were a puppet.

After pinning a hysterical, bawling Jasper to the floor and forcing her to talk, it turns out Jasper and Pink Diamond were old friends (more like a leader and a follower) who separated a long time ago after PD faked her own death (to probably get away from Jasper and her tiger-obsessed brute ways). According to the clan's "Authority", PD was part of their clique a long time ago. After they heard the news that she "died", they erased her from all their contacts and removed her symbols from their "community artwork" in disgust.

She's having a bit of a hard time getting around the clan, knowing her old friends are there too and that her secret is out. When she isn't apologizing to Jasper, she's sticking thousands of air fresheners and scented candles in her lair space. This makes it almost the opposite of Vox's lair, despite being just as nauseating and toxic.

According to her, she doesn't want to be part of the "Diamond Authority" anymore and doesn't want Jasper to follow her. She now spends her free time birdwatching and ice skating.
