The Revelation are a holy order made up exclusively by the Revelation subspecies, and to reduce the confusion, the order itself is sometimes referred to as "the Truth," for none of its members are capable of lying.

Although Revelations are not hive-minded, they are so named because at the moment they are born, the memories of every other member of their kind is revealed to them. You see, The Revelation are also so named because they can also reveal the truth to others by way of recall and playback of their vast, perfect memories. If they choose not to receive regular blessings (from Lightweaver), they begin to lose their shared memories and some of their abilities. This is reflected in their appearance.
