There was a time where Morgana's magic drove her mad, starting with a low burn and finishing with a wildfire that consumed her and drove her to madness. In her madness she did plenty of things that she regrets, things that drown her nightmares in blood. She stumbled into the desert, where she found a clan that taught her control, and to channel her magic instead of letting it move her. It has been a long process, and she is grateful for any of those who can forgive her for the things she did when she was young.

Morgana isn’t sure if she became high priestess during or after the madness. She just knows that when she came back to herself, shaking and broken, that she had disciples to help her put herself back together again. The earth speaks to her now, tells her secrets, and those that she can’t gain from the earth she can always gain from the minds keeping them. She is wary to invade someones mind, but she always does what is necessary. Her position means that it is up to her to make the difficult decisions, and sometimes there is no time to listen to the earth or scry for the future. It is an act Morgana rarely performs but is highly skilled in; few see the attack coming and even fewer can successfully protect themselves from it.
