The Dreamkeeper
Known to be Charlotte's research assistant and more than just a little suspected of having come from the labs, Mezora is almost universally avoided.
If any dragon took the time to get to know him, they would, regrettably, only find this sense of unease justified. Mezora adores and revers his mentor, looking to the elder mirror with the kind of worship others reserve only for the Deities. While he is not the kind of experiment that many fear, he has often volunteered himself as a subject where his assistance has not been required. Whether it is these experiments that damaged him or he came that way to begin with, he is often spotted with his head against a wall, muttering into shadowy corners; bobbing and nodding as eagerly as he does in Charlotte's wake to voices in the walls that only he can hear.
A quick study and meticulous note-taker, he is wholly responsible for Charlotte's project archives, which are not filed or stored with the rest of the lab documents. Still, Mezora's greatest contribution to the lab may be his ice magic, which he uses both to induce hypotherimic reactions and to freeze and preserve subjects for later study.
