Onix

Clashing swords echo on…metallic thunder rolls in the distance.

Participated in Trick or Treat 2016:

Onix raced through the air a broad grin on her face.
"I'm going to get there first!' She shouted down to her familiar Hvorthror, a Wintermane Spearman, who was racing her to the next lair.
"No fair!", he complained, "you're flying!"
Onix spotted a lair in the distance and spiraled into a tight dive. She extended her wings to slow down a bit, but it wasn't working she was going too fast! She noticed a large lump that looked a bit like a bush. Hmm... that might be soft to run into. She angled towards it, NO WAIT THAT'S NOT A BUSH! She collided with a crash into a dragon.
Onix scrambled to her feet "Oh gosh! I'm so so so so sorry!" she exclaimed. Then she remembered why she had visited the lair.
"Trick or treat?" she asked hesitantly.

Vampire is confused about a lot of things. He is confused as to why he is on the ground. He is confused as to why he is currently being squashed to death by a large ridgeback. And not least of all, he is confused as to how a centaur can gallop into the Cloudsong.

But these are all inconsequential. Hyde has promised to buy him a pair of plastic fangs if he participates, even if he dislikes socializing--or being confused, or being crushed into a fae-flavored pancake.

Luckily, the cadences of a fae monotone are as musical as a very dead rock. His dry inflections are supposed to be normal as he tries to feign friendship. "Hello. Welcome. Riot of Rot. Very wonderful." Alright, so the act could use a bit of work.

Hyde had made it very clear to be generous or she'd be sending out items from his own room. No, best to be friendly and avoid future trouble. "Here. Take these. You'll like them. Probably." As long as they didn't send Hyde any bad reviews he'd be okay. "Have a good night. Don't trip or something."

His goodbyes could use a little work, too.

Before he can close the doo,r however, yet another fae approaches from behind him. Unlike Vampire, this one is riding atop a Sunbeam Ursa, and both mount and rider are covered in several black splotches of what appears to be ink. The purple dragon hands a scroll down to the visitor, tipping his cabbie as he does so. Then, without delay, the pair retreated back down the hall whence they came.

Vampire can't help but feel like he's been ignored. Rude.
