Otilio grew up in a cliff village that had obviously been occupied by another clan long before his own. The buildings did not fit all of the various dragon species that made up the clan, broken pots in a style unlike their own littered the dirt, and the paintings on the back walls depicted fluffy figures streaked with blue. These glimpses of the past intrigued him, and he kept asking questions about the dragons that had so obviously left their mark on the cliff dwelling, but for some reason, everyone always dodged his questions.

Never losing his interest in the stories of the past, he eventually left home, enrolled himself in academic studies, and set himself on the path to becoming an archeologist, determined to never let those forgotten stories die.
