Uranus

Queen of the country of Escea, and adoptive mother of Cirque. She is a mysterious woman. She has an outwards persona of gentleness, but in reality she is a very calculating and analytical person. She struggles with empathy, and is sometimes too curt and blunt. However, she is no a bad person. She cares deeply for all of the workers of the Palace, and especially her adopted daughter, Cirque.

She is extremely dedicated to caring for her people, and is always busy working out new trade and alliance deals. Escea is a country that is warm all year round, only dropping to about 5 degrees celsius at the lowest during the winter. To the east, a coastline runs along the whole country and beyond the mountains of Glaora to the south, and so their primary export is seafood, fresh produce, and gems and minerals from the mines. The mines were given to them by Queen Goldleaf in exchange for discounts off exports to Glaora.

Although the quality of life for everybody in Escea is generally very good, and higher than the other countries, Escea is not a perfect society. There is a fairly large gap between each of the classes, and so the middle and lower classes are still rich, but the highest classes are very rich. The Nobles have a lot of power, and own to big a percentage of businesses and corporations. Not many commoners own shops or restaurants, instead working in ones owned by Nobles.
