Full Name: Catherine (often simply just called Cathy)

Personality: Generally, Catherine is a happy-go-lucky individual who likes prancing around the Clan when not with Hareton. She does not get angered easily, although she is a force to be reckoned with when upset. (Just ask Hareton, Nelly, or Joseph about that.) Unfortunately, Catherine can be a little haughty and selfish at times, but she is rarely malicious about it and quickly forgives those who take the time to redeem themselves.

Relationship Status: Formerly taken by Linton, but their relationship ended after he died. Currently taken by Hareton.

Familiar: Nelly the Spirit of Fire. Nelly has been taking care of Catherine since she was a young hatchling, and she spoils her quite often. She is quite motherly and unofficially adopted Hareton as a son before Heathcliff took over the role as adopted parent. The familiar may seem all sweet, but she is also a notorious gossip who has the habit of telling her dragon's story to visitors, much to Catherine's chagrin.

Reputation: Being one of the more optimistic members of the Clan, Catherine is trusted by her Clanmates for providing motivation and pep talks when necessary. Some may be deterred by her apparent arrogance, but most enjoy her presence in the Clan's lair. She is very close and affectionate with Hareton, although she remains independent and does not linger around him all the time. On the other hand, she and Nelly have a more tense relationship, but the two do care about each other inside.

Backstory: Catherine was born in the Lightweaver's domain to a loving family, but she was forced to move to the Scarred Wasteland after their Clan was disbanded by a local Beastclan. Upon arriving in the Sorexians, she was taken in by a Spirit of Fire named Nelly, who comforted her over her parents' (probable) deaths and made sure she became well-adjusted to Clan life. Such an influence, however, could not save her from the influence of a rogue Wildclaw named Heathcliff, who capitalized on the young dragon's innocence and paired her up with his son, Linton. Although Catherine did have feelings for Linton, Linton was harsh and cold towards her, even after they became mates. Linton was always a sickly dragon from the beginning, and Catherine was both shocked and relieved when he perished from a wasting illness. During this time, she got to know a Tundra named Hareton, whom she had previously scorned but started to have feelings for. To spend more time with him, she decided to teach him how to read, and their relationship eventually grew into a romance. After they became mates, Heathcliff suddenly disappeared, and her life has been peaceful ever since.
