Silas

A Lightning dragon through and through, Silas is ambitious and driven. Rather than taking a more haphazard approach to alchemy like many others in his profession, Silas is of the opinion that rigor is the only true path to scientific discovery. Rather than just throwing a bunch of items into a cauldron and seeing what happens, he has meticulously tracked how various compounds respond to alchemical transmutations, with avid detail paid to the likelihood of each outcome. Silas is fast friends with Centauri, and will talk the ear off of anyone who will listen about statistics. In regards to his mate, Zuwen, no one really knows how such a rational-minded dragon ended up falling for a literal seer of the Shadowbinder, but their relationship seems to be fairly stable, albeit fraught with constant teasing from both sides.
