Biography
Executioner || Eris
The bloody queen chose to smile when accused of mariticide. Of course I murdered my betrothed, you blundering fools, she mused to herself. She would be gone on the morrow, before the trial was held. Between threats, bribing, and sheer intelligence, the female would secure her freedom and flee by the light of the moon - far from the icy prison she was born to.
Escaping was easy. She fled to the frozen shores, a purse of precious coin tucked in her shirt. She boarded a barge piloted by a group of ragtag, bickering faes, who quickly accepted her gold. The vessel was headed for the breezy beaches of the Windswept Plateau, though it would never complete its journey. Halfway across the narrow sea, the ship was assaulted by two shining, gembonded imperials.
When the ransacking was over, dead faes littered the ship. While one imperial - the blue one - looted the ship, the red approached. He called himself Sinbad, the Pirate Lord.
"My name is Eris," the female answered when asked. Sinbad complimented her on her scales and gems, remarking she was perfect. He did not say what for.
By the time their ships anchored on the Blacksand Beach, Eris had accepted Sinbad as her mate. Whether Eris fell in love with Sinbad's power or he himself was a mystery, but it did not matter. The Lord was infatuated with his lady and showered her in plundered treasures. He brought her home to his fiery fortress where her shining, blooded scales were praised for their beauty. Although, many of the lighthearted of the clan believed she corrupted the last bit of good in Sinbad.
The two bonded over more than their mutual love of treasures and power, however. Nothing went better together than the Wasteland's plagued inhabitants and the Icefield's cold-hearted killers. Together they killed and sacrificed to their gods - the Flamecaller? the Plaguebringer? Icewarden? Nobody knew for sure. Many believed the gembonded pair had no religious values. They held themselves away from the laws of gods and beast alike, only killing for the sake of killing.
True to her nickname of "bloody queen," Eris serves as the clan's unofficial executioner. Nymeria offers her prisoners, criminals, and unwanted dragons to fulfill her sacrificial tendencies. Many believe the queen attends to Eris' "hobby" to keep the bloody queen from murdering her own children or any other dragon of the clan.
