 Ven is the youngest warrior in the clan, but by far the most tenacious. She trains intensively, whenever possible, and sparring partners are almost always left winded, the exception being, perhaps, the Marchwardens.

She does not "like people". She lives to do a job, and it does not involve pointlessly chattering with other dragons.

The Maned Rasa is no larger than a medium-sized dog, and this one is about the size of a terrier. Also akin to a terrier, it is always underfoot.

She will never admit it to anyone, but Ven has become quite fond of the thing, despite her apparently incessant irritability by its presence. It has come to tuck itself between her forearms when she curls up in the evening, and perching itself between Ven's largest horns, using them for grip while taking short flights.
