____构建它的是我生长于光照遗迹的族类们所不齿的、或不如说畏惧的东西。
____我们自诞生所经历的所有，构建了每一个独一无二、超脱于其它种族与其它同类的我，以珠为我的记录。它是精神层面的，是凌驾于物质、无限贴近神性的。
____我笃信不疑。可我，与我的珠，也是荒蛮的，兽性的。
____是的——兽性，兽性。为我的同族们所唾弃的东西。
____可它对于我——我们，瘟疫的我们，疮疤废土的我们，却是至高无上的法则。

____这是大地上亘古地溃烂着滋生着污血脓水腐朽衰败的狰狞的伤口。在这里，兽性是为我铺陈通往神性的阶梯的道路。
____我是瘟疫的孩子，我的珠不由对光明的颂唱对神圣的向往所塑造，自我隐藏在最饥饿的兽族也不屑一顾的腐臭血肉里战栗而迫切地撕开包裹我的壳，以近乎狰狞的姿态吞噬这本源的馈赠，我加诸于我的珠的，便只可能是由陈腐糜烂到新鲜温热的骨肉——不会有昆虫，不会有腐土里绽放的花朵，我们是唯一有灵魂的龙族，可我饥饿的灵魂不能容忍任何能填满我躯壳中永恒的空洞的食物逃脱。

The pride of Pearlcatchers has never gone away from Ahela, while she must find a way to survive in the Scarred Wasteland. Deity seemed useless here, especially when she found her brutish nature as an animal workable on this cruelest land. But still she could not abandon the will of chasing the god, and such a struggle finally led her to becoming a disciple — or cultist — of the North God of Death, Ah Puch. The young Pearlcatcher named herself after the god, and proclaimed herself as his priest. A little bit of the North God of Death’s godhood was given to her in response to her loyalty and contribution; however, unlike her partner, Ahela never owned any supernatural power coming from her god.
