Preston is often traveling around with a cart trying to sell something. He does not specialise in anything, he just goes with everything he gets his claws on. It does not even need to be particulary valuable, just look good enough.
The Coatl is known for selling junk, talking a customer into buying nearly everything. His often shady schemes are well-known around the clan so everyone is on their toes if they buy anything from the guy. Most try to avoid it all together just to be on the safe side. 'You just got Prestoned' is a regular saying for someone getting duped one way or another. Most don't take it too bad on him though, mostly because his silver tongue tends to keep him out of serious trouble some way always. He swears he doesn't even know himself how he gets out of some situation if an angry customer corners him, but he always does and untouched as well.
He is an artist with words, knowing how to bend the truth so much it might just seem like a lie without ever really turning that way. He loves to talk, loves to listen to himself and just generally never stops. He does also always have a smile on his face, is always complaisant or at least knows how to look that way.
Generally Preston is always looking for profit in every interaction he has with anyone, caring more for gold then anything else really. Some say his interest in Talva is only due ot her travels and the exotic things she might bring with her though of course Preston says otherwise.
He is clearly no dragon for any kind of physical confrontation, but good at talking out of even those situation. He would never go out and pick a fight out of his own though, prefering to stay smooth and out of everything selling bandages ot all survivors if needed. Usually he loves to try the boundaries anyone sets for him, seeing how far he can go.
