One of Lady Natsuki's favorite hobbies is meeting new people.

Traveling dragons who find themselves taking refuge in Heliovale's marble halls are always welcomed warmly. They are served hot food and given a soft bed, and about a quarter of the way through dinner, they can always count on the Lady of the Hall leaning forward with sparkling eyes and saying sweetly, "So tell me about yourself!"

By the end of this conversation, Lady Natsuki can always give a thorough description of the subject dragon's life, purpose, and personality, even though the conversation usually never progresses far beyond "Er, well, I'm from -- and uh, I enjoy -- ." In short, she has a marvelous talent for reading people, and although she tends not to let on to this publicly, both Lord Zurón and Thel always seem to distrust any dragon whom Lady Natsuki deems "unpleasant." Her excellent social skills make her an invaluable part of the clan's leadership, and observers might even claim that in some situations, Lady Natsuki possesses more political power than her mate.

Lady Natsuki enjoys dabbling in various art mediums. The tower rooms she shares with Lord Zurón are decorated with sketches and paintings, mostly landscapes and natures studies, with the occasional cameo by a clan member -- perhaps Lord Zurón meditating on a hillside, or of Thel training in the courtyard, or of Kreszenz studying in the library. Unfortunately her innate talent is countered by a terrible lack of focus, and she frequently abandons projects or even entire mediums. She spends many hours discussing pieces and ideas with Vardan, with whom she occasionally works, though their styles clash rather unpleasantly and their collaborations are, at best, "very unique."
