Cobalt is a savage and fierce protector. Heavily contrasting to his mate and co-leader Xeta. He tends to resort to violence rather than diplomacy and has often killed many dragons that step into the lair accidentally. The ones that do manage to get saved by Xeta are taken in and are able to live with the clan.

Although his soft spot is his family, he loves teaching Apollo how to hunt and is proud to say that Apollo is the lead hunter of the clan. He also loves hanging out with Kendra from time to time, although Kendra has admitted he's scared of Cobalt sometimes. This has led Cobalt to change his ways slightly so that his entire family can enjoy him.

Cobalt has a blue vein pansy for his pet. A sarcastic talking flower that is always ready to give a sarcastic remark. Apollo loves talking to him.
