Mia, the matriarch of the lair, began life as a gentle fae. But it didn’t take much time before she began to grow uncomfortable in her skin. She felt like she needed a change and went to the council to seek advice and approval. Some of the elders winced at her request, reminding her of the expense, and how the treasure could be used for expansion. But after hearing her reasons and taking her rank into account, they approved and began planning. The lair saved and bought Scrolls: beginning with eyespots, then Skink, Skydancer, and lastly a nice thyacine. As a progen she will go down with this lair before she leaves it. Her stubborn determination and hope lead the lair to a bright future. Her mate, Comet, was voted to follow her in the transformation and is fiercely loyal.
Beginings:
The story began on a sweltering morning in the month of lightning. A new caretaker excitedly joined after learning all they could and waiting for a registration window to open up. They created their first dragon, Mia a fae and Comet a guardian joined shortly after. They went to the free dragon hub and picked out many pretty dragons. Corporal, Chalcedony, CleverClaw, Corona, and Mulberrybush all joined the clan from other helpful clans. Many have joined the clan since that day.
Lair:
The clan territory in the Shifting Expanse has its epicenter in a Mesa near the Carrion Canyon. Many clan members just say they live in the canyon to make things easy. The main Mesa has a tunnel carved out facing north. The entrance spirals down into the earth, lit by sunstone and moonstones respectively. Individual and couple dens are dug out from the walls. Each dragon customizes their own space and are welcome to dig alcoves and rooms so long as they don't run into their neighbors. When the tunnel is dug deeper and more dens are constructed that is a lair expansion.
Politics
All important decisions are taken to the clans council which consists of representatives from each lair page which meet on the top of the Mesa surrounded by spires and lightning. Each lair page is a different group headed by the dragon in the first slot. They are the captain tasked with looking after their page. Some are benevolent while others are tyrannical, and everything in between. Leadership changes every-so-often. The leaders choose the representatives and each has a vote for a case. An attorney of sorts will present the case and a counter argument is also presented. 2/3 votes is what a decision needs to pass, 3/3 is a rare and absolute verdict.

•On 9/3/23 I accidentally bred Mia to a XXX ice dragon, rip her nice offspring list. I'm glad it wasn't one of my nice G1s but still not happy it was my progen
