Asteri INNOVATIVE | RESOLUTE | EMPATHETIC | DISCERNING | CYNICAL | AND JUST THE SLIGHTEST BIT UNHINGED Clan Leader

On the surface, Asteri is a very jovial, confident leader who is able to run all the operations of the clan as seamlessly as is possible for a group that studies the shade smack dab in the middle of nowhere. But, peel away that thin veneer of control and you'll realize that Asteri is just completely, absolutely Stressed Out 24/7.

Not many in the clan are aware of the full nature of their employment, but no one really asks why the research has deadlines, why everyone has to write such thorough reports, or why Asteri seems so tense when they have to report to Siore. Everyone knows the clan is under the employ of the organization the stern imperial hails from, but they don't know the depth of the debt Asteri owes to that group, nor what the consequences for failure would be.

Asteri knows, though. All the leader can do is adhere to their orders and smile.

Upon divulging the new location of their research outpost:

Asteri: We all have enough experience to reasonably survive against the shade, right?
Everyone: What.
Asteri: Wonderful! We head out tomorrow morning.


Is the type of dragon to stroll into the middle of a battle with a bright smile on their face, which scares low leveled baddies into running away. Likes dragging new recruits to the coliseum with them while yapping their ears off about 50 ways you can die.


Asteri totally looks like the kind of dragon that would take battle strategies very seriously. No time for rough-housing when you're learning how to survive and also fight Shade monsters. They would also probably tell their recruits the facts quite frankly, like "look kid you really have about a 50/50 chance of surviving out on the battle field but here's a sword go have fun"
